There are so many ways to get involved with SCAN. Volunteer for our fundraising events like the 5th annual Save Our Skin Walk/Run on June 25th. Organize a community awareness event in May, National Skin Cancer Awareness Month.
SCAN Foundation Partners
SCAN Foundation is proud to partner with Friends of Mel Bracelets. The mission of the Friends of Mel is to provide quality cancer care for the whole patient by funding cancer research, education and support. SCAN Foundation receives a portion of all bracelet sales when you visit Friends of Mel
The dermatologists at the Piedmont Cancer Center are the first medical doctors you need to go to for a skin check. Proper prevention and early detection are vital in preventing skin cancer. Our Mission
To create public awareness of the dangers of excessive exposure to the sun and educate people about preventive safety measures to avoid or lessen the chances of developing melanoma
or one of the other preventable skin cancers.
